I like how careful he is to not directly say "than commencal" but rather says "than what I've had in the past" Very diplomatic of him.

Keep it up Chris! Soon you'll be the one leading the dog around the trails

Sopa is the reason wikipedia and tons of other sites are down for the day in protest. its also the reason google is just a black rectangle. go to google and click on the black rectangle and it will tell you about it.

I think he was joking and referring to when they had a typo in the article: "and that’s not to say STX is ugly. 'Functional' is probably the best word."

First 2 pods of the year have been amazing! The only problem is I don't know which one to set as my background...

I like how you say both the strengths AND weaknesses and don't hold back criticism at all. Well done pinkbike, good review!

@ktmracing Ian should definitely choose his shots every once in a while. It's not being cocky or stuck up, its sharing an awesome shot with the users of pink bike. He's not searching for attention either (he's already a professional!), just trying to let others see a great picture. He may be well known, but I never go check out his profile to see if he puts up new pictures, so if he hadn't put this as pod I wouldn't have seen it at all! I could care less who the photographer is, all I care about is the shot. so Ian- keep choosing your own shots if you want to, they're all excellent pictures!

Both are amazing pictures, congrats to the photographers! And 68 votes is insanely close, really shows how good both the shots are.

They're both incredible shots but for those of you wondering why a non action shot has gotten this far here is why I like it at least. It reminds me of early morning riding sessions with my buddies, and just looks like the peaceful calm that comes before they start tearing down the mountain. It's serene and makes me think of the epic days of riding that are ahead, and about tearing it up at bike parks!

All the best luck to him, Here's to a fast recovery! Unfortunately I'm sure alcohol was involved, shows how much it can cloud your judgement at times...
